3rd Party Application or Office Integration

All Office product include a macro language called VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). The macro recorders allows you to record steps and in the process, Office writes the VBA code for those steps. The macro recorder is just the tip of the ice berg.
With macros we can create automated solutions to help reduce man hours, validate user tasks and link your office application and other 3rd party products. If the 3rd party product has an ODBC driver or an API, than it is likely that we can link to the data, extract it and then use the data in Excel, Word, Access or PowerPoint. In some cases it may also be possible to upload data to the 3rd party application as well.
